A tweed classic in Superfine Alpaca and Merino Wool
DROPS Soft Tweed is, like its name implies, a soft tweed yarn, made from a combination of merino wool, superfine alpaca and viscose. The yarn is constructed by carding these fibers together with small felted “tweed buttons” that add speckles of colour to define the look of this quality. Being a carded yarn means that DROPS Soft Tweed is lighter and breathes better than similar, combed yarns - while being specially suited for hand knitting.
Rustic and elegant, this yarn is easy to knit and results in beautiful, even stitches. A great choice for textured patterns, slipovers, sweaters and jackets - DROPS Soft Tweed is a great fit for patterns designed in DROPS Karisma, DROPS Lima and DROPS Merino Extra Fine (Yarn Group B).

An exciting "blow yarn" made from soft baby alpaca and cozy merino wool - this quality has a unique construction where instead of spinning, the fibers of baby alpaca and merino wool are blown into a tube together. Spun from 3 strands, which gives an exciting and rustic stitch definition, DROPS Nepal is an easily knitted/crocheted quality which is also ideal for felting, resulting in garments that have an even and soft surface.
DROPS Nepal contains mixed colours, this means the wool is manufactured by carding the colours together before spinning, which gives it a mixed effect.
